A native French speaker with more than 30 years’ teaching and translation experience in South Africa and abroad.

My name is Nicole Kruger, and I am a highly experienced Sworn Translator for English and French. I was qualified in October 1993 by Judge Daniels (Diploma No. J 108). Over the years, I have worked with a variety of clients, including advocates, consulates, and government bodies such as the GCIS (Government Communication and Information System), the University of Pretoria, and UNISA. I have also provided translation services for international organizations like the United Nations, Renault, and various businesses in the medical, IT, and legal sectors.

My work has extended to translating and correcting sworn translations for students, translating legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and political statements for the GCIS, as well as working with the Mali and Gabon Embassies, translating for ambassadors and first chancellors. Additionally, I have handled legal translations for Belgium and France, facilitating the process for individuals seeking South African nationality.

My expertise includes translating birth certificates, police clearances, marriage certificates, and divorce judgments for advocates. I also managed the Alliance Française French School, where I taught French, interpreting, and translation while organizing events, concerts, and movies. My work has been crucial for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, where I liaised with Francophone countries and islands, managed presidential contracts, and provided Pan-African translations. Prior to this, I gained valuable experience working for five years with attorneys.
